Oh, what a cool website, Jennifer! I've added it to the sidebar. I adopted a guy, too. This is a really cool idea - whether someone supports the war or not, the people fighting need a lot of prayer. Thank you for sharing that!

hello everyone, i found this really cool website where you can go and adopt a member of the armed forces to pray especially for...i got one and so i'll try to put the link up here for anyone else who is interested. Go here. hopefully that worked. If it didn't, the site is presidentialprayerteam.org. Anyway i was all set to go to the Quest this week since i won't have homework to do for Friday...but then i found out there is no quest this week. How disappointing.

I'll have to look at the Sojourners, sounds interesting. Hey, the war is going fairly well. Granted, there were set backs but that has to be expected. The Iraqis are ruthless and are using tactics that are crap. I know this was to be expected since everything is about to change in Iraq and people are against forced change. Putting it into perspective, if Iraq was the World Super Power and was trying to convert us under a dictators rule, I would resist by any means nesasary. The idea that runs through my head though and what is causing me concern is asking what the people of Iraq want. We had the same problem in Vietnam when we were helping a corrupt government. Who would you rather have a Martha Stewart or a George Bush running your country. Ok bad analogy but you all get my point.

I believe Saddam has to go and war is justified even though countless people are going to die. However, less will die than what Saddam's rule has brought with millions of Iraqis being exterminated by malnutrition.

Let's support our troops and my prayers go out to them.

I hate this f'd up world and can't wait until we have peace in our time.

I'm done ranting. Good night

I was doing some Christian Coalition research, and I added the Sojourners link to the sidebar. Our wonderful youth minister gave it to me some time ago, but of course I didn't have time to look at it. But, yeah. If you guys ever have any links you would like to post on the side, feel free. And hey - if anybody who's a part of this blog didn't already know - I have a boyfriend! ;D Yes. Well. Back to spending perfect vacation time on SCHOOLWORK. >O

Ladies and gentlemen of the Jeebus Blog, I HAVE A DREAM. I have a dream that one day - ONE DAY, I will come to the Quest! One Thursday, I will stand up in the middle of my house and realize that ALL MY HOMEWORK IS DONE. And then, I will get in my car! And drive to church! And be there for the Quest! And I WILL NOT feel guilty because I WILL NOT have any tests to worry about or any lab reports or any readings or any stupid article alerts for any of my STUPID, POINTLESS CLASSES.

That is all.

President Bush delivered his speech to the world alerting us that war will come in 48 hours unless Saddam decides to leave. Today we see a shift in U.S. foreign policy stating that we will not only retaliate, but we will take preemtive measures to safe guard the citizens of the United States. I believe in what the president said tonight that we have to protect ourselves from the threat of weapons of mass destruction.

I just want to say that I can't wait for all of the Band Students to come home because the Feds just raised the Terror Alert Status to Code Orange and I hope they all come home safe and sound.

Saddam is a whore and I can't wait to see him before a judge facing a War Crimes Tribunal.
Good Night Friends.

As all of you are aware, President Bush cut off diplomacy on Iraq and said screw it to the UN. We have a 72 hour ultamadium that will be delivered at 7:00.

I know I go like a pendulim on my opinnions, but I am in support of our President and with the troops. We are justified in going to war country because they are Material Breach of the UN resolution 1441 which every nation on Security Counsel voted for unanoioumously. It is a shame Saddam wouldn't disarm peacefully because now thousands will perish and it is going to be a bloody war.

However, millions of people die every year because Saddam takes all their food and money and this war will be in the thousands instead of Millions. This with Saddams greed and our containment policy is responsible for this. This will no longer be an issue. We can be rest assured that Chemical, Bio, and Radioligcal weapons will be out of the Al Qaida's and Saddam hands.

I'm not happy about this and I wish our leader would have done a better job handleing this in the facts that he should have made this a more international issue which may have pushed for disarmorment and a lift on sanctions.

I hope this war quick and I hope we don't loose anyone.
The end.

Ok, I'm am so mad at our Life Issues teacher. She made some crack about Priests and I was ready to take my pencil and wack her with it. She is the most obnoxious, Pain in the butt teacher on the planet. She was talking about who you could talk to if you are in an abusive situation. She said you can go to a hospital, police, family services or talk to your local pastor........................I would have said Priest but...............you know with the whole sex situation, I'd probably reconsider." Then she started laughing in her little own way.

I'm sorry but that was so offensive to judge ALL priests like that. Just how she judges men as the devil. I can't wait until the class is done so I don't have to look at the face of that ignorant know-it all ever again.

No struggle here - I ate as soon as I got home from school. -_- Oh, well. Um, so I was so going to The Quest tonight. But as soon as I got home from school my mom said I had to go to my sister's house and help with the kids so that Kevin could do something with their taxes or whatever. So, I did that, and then Kevin and I took them to get their haircut and to buy some massage thing for my sister at Kohl's. And now I still have all my homework to do. So, there goes that. And I won't be able to go next week because.....WE LEAVE THAT NIGHT FOR NEW YORK!!!! Yes. A much-needed break, three days of school, and another much-needed break. In the mean time, 1570927503 tests, projects, and assignments. If I am irritable towards you, I apologize.

But in Jesus news, I prayed before I went to bed last night because my Aunt gave me this black book thing that takes you through Lent. And that was cool, because I'm just...not much of a prayer, I guess. I don't often sit and consciously pray, and when I do, it doesn't feel right. But it did last night, so that's good, I guess. Oh wait, I pray with Heather's St. Thomas Aquinas prayer card before tests, ;D

8.5 hours left to go...........do dah doo dah. 8.5 hours left to go dum da do da day.

Fasting is like fulfilling to the sould but it takes a lot of you. As I sit here drinking my V8 juice, I realize that we are very fortunate to be alive. Fasting always improves views on life. Food is important, but its not the real life force that moves within us while we are alive. Although I can't wait until midnight, It is a true test of will power. Food is everywhere and is so easy to access.

Today, I have church and explorers. I don't want to go to explorers but I have too. Ok, I'm tired and am going to take a nap.
Stay Jesus and I will pray for all of you during our last 8 hours of struggle.

Rest In Peace

No, I think its perfectly healthy. In fact I enjoy them because they make life interesting. When I tried going back to sleep last night, I thought some one was in the room with me and it freaked me out. Sometime my mom will wake me because I will be screaming at Night. Yeah, I wish I could could get new dreams but as far as I know there is nothing I can do about it so there.

All though, I wonder why I have to die in all of my dreams and why I fall down a set of stairs. Perhaps someone is trying to tell me something. I don't know......................

There's a part of me that wants death to come yet there is another realm that keeps me in sync with society. That is probably why I want to become a Mortician (FOR SURE, STARTING TO APPLY :) )

So, yeah, if you want me to update you on my freakie deakie imaginative ,psychotic, probably will cause me to be sent to the Psych Center dreams, I'll let you know.

Rest in Peace

As far as I know, you can fast whenever you want, and however you want. Like, any time of the year, you could say, "I'm giving up Cheetohs, and while giving up Cheetohs, I'm praying for _____" I don't think age makes a difference - it certainly doesn't make a difference in the maturity of a person's faith - at least, not in my mind. I'm not eating anything tomorrow. I'm going to drink all kinds of juice though, ;D I'm pretty sure they don't have a mass before school. Which sucks.

Ryan, your dreams sound interesting. Do you think it's bad if I imagine stuff like that all the time? I've always wondered if that's just a me-thing, or if I have an over-active imagination, or what. I dunno. But it helps when you're bored in class, ^_~

School sucks and I can't want to go to New York.

Sorry, I couldn't come to the meeting but my parent thought it was too slippery out (I will never understand them). Oh, and yes its the most wonderful time of the year. It's FAT TUESDAY!!!!!! Horray!!!!! Which means two things. I will be eating until I blow up today but also signals that I will dieting starting on Wednesday for forty long hellish days. I'm preparing for the fast tommorow which will give me a headacke and make me slap happy. HOOOOOOOOOOOOOHAHAHHAHHAHHAHHAHHA. So now, I need to get back to sleep. I have such freaky dreams at night. Like teachers pulling out guns out of no where, or I was walking into class and all of a sudden the classes pull knives and start chasing me around the school. Everytime it ends, my sister tells something embarasing that I did than I fall down a flight of stairs. The weird thing is when I wake up in cold sweat, my legs hurt like if I fell.

Conclusion: Sleeping is the devil and is over rated. Those dreams suck. I just want a pleasant happy dream. Ok, I'll shut up.

Who's going to Ash Wednesday Service???? and which one

Rest In Peace

I don't know if any of you heard or not, but the Pope called for this Ash Wednesday to be a day of fasting and prayer so that there is no war. Click here for details. I don't know if it's a good idea to not eat when we have school....I already feel like I'm going to pass out half the day. Meh. Just an idea.

I don't really get what the problem is.....Clinton was a president, and they have a timeline of his presidency. O_o It's history, it's not like it's a big deal. I found it odd that you thought he only launched cruise missiles to divert attention from himself...according to the timeline you linked, he launched those cruise missiles at Sudan and Afghanistan, and they were launched at a terrorist network that he thought was a threat. The network was led by Osama bin Ladin - maybe you've heard of him? I liked Clinton a lot more than I liked Bush, but that's just me. Clinton did a lot with welfare, and for people in need. And he was crucial in peace talks between Israel and Palestine. But I don't really think we need to discuss politics in this blog. I just don't get why it was wrong of CNN to post a timeline of his presidency? Maybe it's just me.

This is such crap!!!!!!!! I hate CNN. To show case this man who has zero morals. Will launch cruise missiles just to avert attention from himself during the Monica Lewinski scandal and the whole adultery scandal and Purgery. He believes its right to kill babies and he smoke Marajuana. Sent Troops into Somalia for some Humanitarian action with little material which costed the lives of over 10,000 souls.
What an American Hero we have.
