"Padre Juan, Patriarch of the West" has emailed me back. He gave me directions, which Carrie might be interested (people driving can get them that day). Also, he said yes, we will bake cookies and eat them for lunch. He also wanted me to get back to him on who's going. So.....I need to know that. THE END for now.

Wow, I'm so excited!! I've been off in Badgerland for a week (Badger Girls State, read my blog if interested) and have been completely cut off from reality. So now I'm catching up on the latest happenings and trying to feel like I'm part of Ashwaubenon again, haha. This is so great! I'm so happy everyone's been writing, I can't even tell you how happy it makes me. :-)

New youth stuff? AWESOME! I can't wait for it all to get started, it's really needed and I think it'll pump some life back into what we've started.

Combining choirs? LOVE it! I think that's a great idea, I really do. Hopefully the kids wouldn't be too intimidated by us, lol, but I would love to do it. And that way, with GIFT and everything too, it'll be easier to bridge the age gap and bring in some people in the middle. Man, you all are brilliant.

I miss you guys a lot. I can't wait to see you. And to see Father John! Hopefully I'll see you Sunday at the picnic, I gotta work from 4-8 though... :-( merh. But it'll be okay, I'm sure I'll see you soon. Peace be with you guys~

Hi all...i just got back from my trip...it was fun but kind of cold, so i didn't really do that much. But i did get an excellent idea for a sunday night activity! Instead of carrie just bringing cookies for all of us, we could make cookies together! I think you did that already with Father John once, but i missed it so we should do it again. That way we can have nice warm cookies right out of the oven. YUM

I'm back! ^.^

Wow, it sounds like I missed a lot while I was gone! n.n How is everyone? And are we still having Youth Liturgy this Sunday even though it's the day of the church picnic? (By the way, is anyone else volunteering at that? n.n)

I can't wait to talk to all of you again! ^-^ Let me know when our next meeting is.

"Padre Juan" (as he signed his email) has emailed me back. He says August 5th around noon or so would be good for him and if that doesn't work, we should email him. Hurrah.

Hello, people. Colin wanted someone to write in here what we did Sunday night, so here I am. Writing. Last night it was me, Carrie, Ryan, Nikki, Heather, and Rachel (Heather's older sister). After sitting outside until everyone came, we went inside and Carrie showed us the new space that the youth will have until the building project is done. We're going to be moving some time relatively soon, because the kitchen is going to expand first. When the kitchen expands, it will expand right into our current youth room. So, this is what we are going to have: it will be 3 rooms. One room will be a combined total of four classrooms (they'll take down the barrier thingies) that we can use since they're using the new catechesis program that doesn't use classrooms. This big room will contain the pool table, air hockey, and ping-pong, a refrigerator, and some cabinets, etc. Across the hall, in one classroom, we will have a TV, and we'll probably put like, the CD player and stuff in there. Lastly, in the room next to that, we'll have a computer, all of our books, and stuff. The youth minister (when we get one) will have an office by all of the other offices, but he/she can utilize this room with the computer and books to plan stuff with us. So, yeah. We were excited about that.

We also discussed when to go and see Father John. I emailed him last night, asking him about the following three dates: July 8th, July 29th, and August 5th. We are waiting for his reply and then we'll figure out when we're going.

The last big thing that was discussed was New Life. I had asked if we were looking for a new director. Then, Rachel suggested that we combine the Children's Choir with the few people who are still left in New Life and have one big choir. I mean, seriously, New Life is all but dead and we're going to need younger kids to keep the choir alive anyway. Carrie still needs to talk to the Children's Choir director to see if this is all okay, but it seems like a good idea. Little kids like our youth masses anyway, so hopefully it'll all work out.

So, I think that's everything. If you weren't there, tell us what you think!

What's up JHO's HOOOAH!

Well, I can see the Jeebus blog has been moving with activity. Yes yes!

C: You should really consider starting your own blog because I think it would be ammusing.

Jack Man: *roz laugh*

Jennifer: Go Sumo style (that may be hard since you're a twig) and show them how to do a good youth liturgy.

Ashman: I have two friends in Colorado which I found ammusing. Hope your having fun.

Ok, now that I see that people are going nutz on the blog again, I can invade it with muahs thoughts. HAHA.

Yes, so, if you are in town this evening and have nothing to do from 7-about 8:30, you should come to the Youth Room because we will be doing things. Jenny, Jenny, Colin, and Sarah will all be gone, but there are 16 people who are part of this blog! So...yeah. If nothing else, me and Carrie will be there, and we will lay the smack down in various ways. I hope we get a computer again! Then we could work on the Jeebus Blog from church, ;D
I hope that you are all having good summers. Maybe we could go to daily mass sometime...hmm. We need to plan schtuff.

Ciaodios.

I just got back from my preview/orientation thing at Marquette...I love it there! Everything about it, the people, the classes they offer, the city, the fun stuff to do...it makes me happy i chose it. And guess what? They have a liturgy planning group that does a mass every single week! I can keep up with the liturgy planning and bring back ideas when i visit! They've also got lots of retreats, and i'm going to look into lectoring and that sort of thing too. There's so much offered at Marquette...I am really looking forward to strengthening my faith while i'm there.

On the chau/ciao thing, i think it's chau in Spanish and ciao in italian. i think. so you're both right! See you all later, i'm going up north for the 20th through the 23rd, so i won't be there on sunday. Have fun!

Hi Colin! I've missed you enormously, haha the coon's age thing made me laugh. I'm definitely up for a church get-together but will be gone this Sunday afternoon through Friday night :-( But when I get back, I expect to see some plans made! Hehe, peace out ya'll

Oh and P.S. I think everyone should read this book. St. George and the Dragon and the Quest for the Holy Grail. I'm only half-through and I already feel more peaceful, it's so interesting!

Hi everyone! :D

I just thought I'd put a quick post in here to let everyone know I won't be at Youth Liturgy on Sunday--I'm leaving for Kentucky to visit my best friend tomorrow morning. ^.^ I also won't be able to come next Sunday, since I won't be back until late on the 20th--but I will be there the week after that! ^^ ...Wait, is that the weekend of the church picnic? Well, whatever--I'll get the info when I come back. :D

Congratulations to all the seniors who graduated!! ^-^ I hope the ceremony was beautiful.

See you next week! ^.^

You used "Sar's! :)

Anywho, if we have this party, we are not eating crappy graduation, mass quantity of loose meats, chips or any other crap what so ever. One party is fine, the hundreds of other parties it's like shoving raw sewage down your throat.

We need to plan a trip to visit Papa John.

Hi everyone! I haven't written for a really long time. We're out of school- yay! Hope everyone else is enjoying their last two days of school, lol! We should all get together and have a party or something soon. Maybe we could all watch Best Week Ever !!! But we can't at Sar's and my house because our parents are still recovering from my graduation party and will be for a long, long time, heehee. : )-

We haven't been writing in here that much lately, but it's okay. Everyone has been so busy with the end of the year stuff, especially Graduation. Speaking of which... congratulations to all you (ex) seniors! We will miss you so much more than you will ever know... you all have so many amazing gifts and talents that I know you can share with the world. As hard as it is to let you go, I know that God has a plan for each and every one of us, and He's guiding us all onto our own paths. I'm sure that our paths will cross again soon, and am thankful for the role you have all played in my life. So go out and light up the world; you've certainly brightened mine! :-)

And thank you Ashley, today has been great even though nothing overly big has happened. Just another day, I just happen to be 17 now too, hehe. I love you too, you constantly amaze me with your strength and faith. Thank you for everything you do for me! I'm so thankful I know you.

Hope you're all having a great day, or tomorrow, or whatever day it is! Make it a great one... enjoy every moment of it, it's going so fast. I love you all~

I'm having a really hard time with a non-denominational Christian who left some comments in my blog. I mean, Catholics are supposed to evangelize too, but I get really disgusted by people who assume I don't know what I'm talking about and tell me I need to "get to know Jesus" without even asking me about my faith. I don't know. I think I'd rather try to live my life the best way I know how...living your faith is so much more important and so much more beautiful than talking about. Words only do so much. I don't know. On some days more than others, I'm very glad I'm Catholic.

Hey, just to make all of you people happy with the Catholic Church.......

I was watching CNN and a Colorada Bishop says he will deny communion to those who VOTE for politiicians whom support abortion. Just watch and see computers that have the database of all parishoners doing background checks. That would be ammusing.
