If you could be God for a day, like in Bruce Almighty, what would you do?

Colin!  :-D  Good to hear from you, I've missed you buddy!  My summer has been great, but going wayyy too fast.  I can't believe we're half done... scary thought.  But at least then we'll all be able to see each other a lot more and stuff, and I'll be a big scary senior!  We won't be meeting at church this Sunday night because Carrie will be with some relatives visiting from Arizona, but on August 5th we're visiting Father John and then Sunday the 1st (I think?) we're having a scavenger hunt!  Or something.  Hehe.  Alright well hopefully I'll see you later.  Love ya'll

P.S. We need to start writing in here more again!  I'll come up with a topic type thing at work tonight.  Bye again

Sounds like all of you have some great ideas on the future of your church. I found the Catholic Campus Ministry Center. It was ghetto and scary but it felt like home and it called to me >). So,now it's off to orientation which will be fun and exciting.................................................

Hey all~

I just wanted to tell you that next year, whether you'll be here or not, will be a huge year for not only the youth, but our entire church community. This year holds a huge transition, but one that I feel is needed and welcome. I feel in my heart that something huge is about to happen, something that we can help be a part of and jump-start. This weekend Nikki and I were talking a lot at Lifest, and got so many great ideas for Liturgy, New Life, everything. We're not going to just let what we've started die. We're going to spread the fire we have for God to others in our parish, and hopefully start everyone else on fire too! God can do all things, and He can work through us in so many ways. I am so grateful that we have the chance to be a part of it, and I need you all to just have faith in the future of Youth Ministry in our church. I'm also asking all of you who will still be here to help give all that you have with this, even if it takes more work than we've had to do this past year. This life is about nothing more than helping accomplish God's will down here, and using your gifts to help spread his joy. It's so frustrating to keep falling into a lull when there's so much to be excited about, and so much joy missing that can be restored. Right now I'm just kind of rambling from my heart... so I'll stop now. I just wanted you all to know how I'm feeling, and to hear about the hope and faith I have in the future of our youth, our church, our world. It's not going to be easy... it's not meant to be. We have to be the hands of Jesus, but his hands were pierced. We have to feel the pain and make sacrifices in order to keep being his hands, and I plan on trying harder than ever before to do so. Thank you all so much for listening to this! I'll see you soon, and love you so much. We can do this, we really can. I'm so excited! Squee! See you all soon

All my love~

P.S. And all you venturing out into the world can do it too! Let's start the whole world on fire (for God of course, though actual fire is fun... ^_^)

My blog publishing has been semi-off, but nothing that bad. Jackie would know a lot better than me, sorry!

Anyways, so this weekend I'm going to all four days of LIFEST! I am unbelievably excited, but unfortunately I'll be unable to see you guys on Sunday. :-( That makes me sad. But hopefully I'll see you soon, for sure the Sunday after that.

How are all your summers going? This whole thing is going so fast, I can't even believe it. It's July 7th... !_! Before we know it, the "S" word will be starting up again... but at least that means Youth Liturgy again, for everyone staying back here. GOd is so awesome, I had a dream about Jesus last night that was perplexing. Read my other blog if you're curious. Very crazy! I love you all, gotta head out now though, farewell and peace be with you

Hi, everyone! :D I hope you all had a great Fourth of July!!

Quick question--is anyone else having a problem with his/her blog? Mine won't show any of my posts until the next day. I was just wondering if I did something to mess it up, or if it's a blogger problem. ^^; LOL, thanks!

We're still going to visit Father John on August 5th, right? I'm just making sure--I was able to get that day off from work! :D Go me.

Okay, well, there's nothing much to post, so I s'pose I'll go. See you all Sunday! ^-^

>0 Awh, I wanted to go. That sounds like a lot of fun. Oh well. I really hope I can go back to God in July. I've really distanced myself from the GJH. I don't know.......There days I think this is some story make believe that was created for control by religious husselers. At the same time, religion continues to irritate the crap out me. Our church can be so stupid sometimes. There are so many times when I ask myself "Why am I Catholic?"

Yeah.

However, something draws me back and I don't think its the human psychie doing it. It has to be God.

Sorry about the reflection.

Now for the pleading.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get help in this area?

P.S. It's going to be a grand possibility that I won't see any of my JHO's for a month, I hope all of you will continue to update your blogs.

END

Count me in too!!! (this is jennifer the dancer by the way...it's kind of hard to tell which is which, isn't it?)

EDIT BY JACKIE: Yes, but that doesn't mean we have to give ourselves away to rapists by giving out our last names on the internet!
